About

The School…

Jonesboro School of Art is owned and operated by award winning portrait artist, Tanya Eddy. JSA offers art instruction for students 2nd grade through adult and Creative Writing for 5th through 12th grades.

All students are exposed to art history through the study of works by both the great masters and modern day artists.  Younger students (2nd-5th grades) are introduced to their studies through Art Overview classes, which will develop their skills for the older, advanced classes.  Older students concentrate on the areas of Art Overview, Portrait Art, and Digital Art.

For students requiring long distance learning or a more flexible class offering, all of Jonesboro School of Art’s  classes are conducted online through Google Meet as “real-time” instruction.  Because our teachers are demonstration artists, students are able to follow along with instruction, ask their teacher questions, and interact with fellow students.
